Booking, reminders and homework in one small app
Stride Physio · Physiotherapy practices
Two physiotherapy practices were running bookings by phone and exercise plans on paper. We built an app that handles both, so patients book in seconds and actually do their exercises between sessions.

The brief
Stride run two physiotherapy practices. Reception spent much of the day on the phone moving appointments, and patients went home with photocopied exercise sheets that were lost by the next visit.
They wanted fewer calls and no-shows, and a better chance that patients would do their exercises between sessions.
What we did
We kept the scope small on purpose. The app does three things well: book or move a session, show today’s exercises with a short video for each, and remind people at the right moment. It connects to the practices’ existing booking calendar, so reception doesn’t have to learn a new system.
We tested early prototypes with patients in the waiting room, which changed the design twice. Older patients wanted bigger buttons and fewer choices, so the booking flow fits on one screen.
The result
Most bookings now happen in the app, fewer appointments are missed, and physiotherapists can see which exercises a patient has done before they walk into the room.
Reception spends far less time on the phone, and patients actually do their exercises between sessions.
